Wendy Mann - Chief Pilot

Wendy is holding the trophy for Best Air Charter Operator at the Tourism Mid West 2002 Tourism Awards. The 2001 award can be seen on the counter. 

Wendy holds a multi-engine command instrument rating and has 7800 hours flying time. She also holds a low-level flying approval and a tail wheel endorsement. 

 

 

 

 

Bill Kee 

Bill has 1800 flying hours and has flown in Geraldton for 2.5 years, holds a Multi-engine command instrument rating, aerobatic and tail-wheel endorsement. Bill is endorsed on all company aircraft.

 

 

 

 

 

Alex McNeil

 

Alex has 800 hours flying time. He has a multi engine and PA31 Chieftain endorsement. Alex holds an aerobatic rating, and won the 2006 WA Light Aircraft Championship for aerobatics. He speaks Russian and basic Melanesian Pigeon.

 

 

 

 

 

Rebecca Burt

Rebecca is a very experienced charter pilot with almost 1500 hours of flight time.  She has extensive experience in the Kimberley and Gascoyne Regions of Western Australia, and also holds a low level mustering endorsement and tail wheel endorsement.  Rebecca is responsible for charter operations out of Carnarvon in our newly established base which has been set up to service the Gascoyne area.

 

 

 

Lesley Smithers

Lesley joined Geraldton Air Charter in August and has 13900 flying hours. She returned from retirement to captain the newly acquired Bandeirante aircraft. Lesley has previously been the Chief Pilot of Rottnest Airlines, a CASA officer and flew BAe 146 and B787 aircraft for Ansett.  

 

 

 

 

Simon Sherpenzeel

Simon joined Geraldton Air Charter in September and has over 600 flying hours. He holds a Night and Aerobatic Rating. Simon joined us after working for Alligator Airways during the tourist season in Kununurra.

 

 

 

 

Steve Ewen

Steve joined Geraldton Air Charter in December and has over 500 flying hours. He also holds a tailwheel endorsement and owns his own Lancair 235.   

 

 

 

 

Steve Smith

Steve joined Geraldton Air Charter in January and has about 7000 flying hours. He holds an Airline Transport Pilots licence and Command Instrument Rating. Steve joins us from leisurely retirement in Dongara. Steve’s experience has ranged from flying for Qantas, being a chief pilot and extensive low level ag flying.

 

 

 

 

 Daniel Jones

Dan joined Geraldton Air Charter in January and has 600 flying hours. He also holds a Command Instrument Rating. Dan joins us from Melbourne where he gained extensive experience on Cessna 206 aircraft in Parachute and Commercial operations.
